Growth of Time The purpose of this assignment was to teach us how artwork can fit together even when that is not the intention. Each artwork contains a meaning all of its own, but together they carry one not thought of by an individual. They bring a message of unity among different objects.
Like people every shape is different, but they still fit together. There is a place for everyone. My shape symbolizes life and the growth therof. The swirling pattern is the confusion we all experience at some time in our life. The red for the blood that keeps us alive, and the plant shape and green for growth. My shape is like a person. Filled with meaning and has a second side. Elizabeth Murry Project

Structural Combat I made the structure of a building with wire so you could see the inside. Designing building structures as a career is something I am considering doing with my life. That is why I first designed a house, then put it together. When I designed this building I had no ones preferences to go off of, so I used some of my own. This is one kind of house I would like to live in and design.

Mixed Emotions I made this piece of artwork to show the difference of people's feelings towards different groups of people. I used carving tools to carve the design onto the block. For the person in the middle I used a very small and sharp tool to make it detailed. The outside I used a larger curved tool, and the sun a sharp one. This print represents my feelings toward my family opposed to those towards my friends.

Religious Rights - Religious Fights For this project I used paint to blend the colors on each side to give a different impression of each side of the battle. The lightening in the middle is to show the dividing line between the two sides of the conflict. The area that mixes blue and red is showing that there is a solution to the conflicts. I made this because I believe in resolving conflicts, and religion is one of them. To me having freedom of religion is important and you must fight for it to resolve the conflicts at hand.
